By maintaining more than 2,700 ha of forest area and 1,000 hectares of poplar plantations for industrial use, our Company is one of Hungary’s largest private forest management companies.

Most of the forests under our management consist of native alder, birch and oak species, but we also manage significant areas of cultivated forests of black locust and Scots pine. Our aim is to preserve the character of the semi-natural forests typical of Belső-Somogy and improve their ecological condition, while providing valuable timber for the various needs of the processing industry. One of our greatest achievements is that, since its establishment, DRAWA Kft. has contributed to the expansion of Hungary’s forest areas by planting approx. 760 ha of forest, thereby also ensuring the foundations of sustainable forest management for future generations.
